From an early age poka was always intirigued with hair. Coming from a mixed background he was introduced to many different types of hair from kinky to straight, he began his hair journey in high school where his cosmeotology teacher saw potential in him and told him this was the field for him. So a few years after graduating he decided to apprentice under master stylist Tas Ubank. With Tas superior knowledge of hair he took poka under his wing and showed him the ins and outs of natural hair. From there his skill and knowledge of the craft grew and he began to make a name for himself. Fast forward to now, Poka kimble is a sought after sstylist in the natural hair community with well over 8 years of experience under his belt, mixing healthy hair techniques with stylish styles always keeps him in demand. Also with his vast knowledge of products he is able to identify just the right combo of products for your tresses to make your hair flourish.
